Quilt repair is a delicate process. If you have a quilt in need of repairs, please keep a few things in mind before requesting a repair:
Many older quilts use fabrics that are no longer in circulation. Sir Oliver's will try to get as close to the original fabric pattern/color as possible, but complete accuracy is impossible.
Repairing a quilt means ruining the hard work someone else put into it. This could also mean devaluing the quilt.
If you wish to have a quilt repaired that has sentimental value, remember that the more we have to replace, the less of the original quilt will be left. It breaks our hearts to have to recreate an entire quilt that someone who is no longer with us spent hours creating.
